Along with being a \n\t\t\tbit difficult to spell and pronounce, the word is of uncertain \n\t\t\torigin and meaning. Ouchichiq was a Cree name that the Ojibway \n\t\t\tapplied to both Rainy Lake and Rainy River. An early-day traveler, \n\t\t\tRev. J.A. A mile-long \n\t\t\tboardwalk, completed in 2005, enables visitors to get a first-hand \n\t\t\tlook at the unique plant and animal life of this rare resource.
